No stalking this saturday far more important things to see

The three year residency rule makes a mockery of the "National" side, but it is not just England that takes advantage of it, Toby Faletau is not the most common name in the valleys :-)

True, but Bob Barritt is a Saffer and Tuilangi (sp?). Come on England, more interesting rugby and some home grown players would be nice....

Still, well done Wales!!! Makes up a little for that cheating, low down, good for nothing half French-Irish barsteward Alain Roland's pedantic interpretation of the rules in the semi's at the RWC.

A chuffed Scrumbag

Yes Denton is a Rhodesian (sorry Zimbabwean) Botha may well be an import and Prince Obolensky was a Russian so the English have serious form going back a long time. :stir:

Actually I am too chuffed to care. Say what you like the grin stays on.

David.

I couldn't endure the pain anymore and switched off. Didn't catch the final score but I'm guessing that we didn't make a miraculous recovery. Sigh.
Oh well, had a good evening in the pub. Now need to sort some shooting out for next weekend.

It was really bad. Worst Irish performance in England for a long time.

I was delighted to see Wales win and they are worthy 6 nations champions, but it was hardly what you'd call a scintillating performance. For most of the second half Wales played a "avoid losing at all costs" game - necessary perhaps but not what I'd call interesting. At the final whistle the Radio 5 commentator said "it's the result that counts", which is about the best that could be said for it.

At least in the England vs Ireland game there was the English domination of scrum to watch. If you didn't find that interesting then maybe you were watching a different game? I dont know whether it was a game plan by England or an Irish meltdown, but I truly felt for the Irish as they had no platform to work from. I think it will be a while psychologically before they recover from yesterday's game. Oh yes, and there were almost more unforced errors in the game than spectators in the crowd. Dickson had a shocker!

On reflection, if Courtney Lawes hadn't had the ball stripped off him at Twickenham then we would have been celebrating an England Grand Slam. Now that would have been interesting.;)

Wg and if Ireland had played as bad against every one else they would have come last:stir: yes wales played the second half not to lose, but at least France turned up this week for some of the match, unlike against England.

Ah, now I understand :-D.

Every team that played against England simply played badly, so England were gifted their 4 victories, whereas miraculously the same teams managed to play well against every other opposition. Funny that.

Wg knows not to expect anything else when it comes to England from a Welshman.:-D England's improvement has been lesson to all the other teams, and you can only play against te team that terns up. I hope they give the manager a chance to prove himself, as he seems to have brought the team together.

The welsh scum have more caps than the whole English team! (not checked, just a figure of speach for the pedants out there)

 Yawn - end of the day who won the GRAND SLAM? err oh yes - WALES!!
