NOCPIX 18650's?

Thought the same, seems a bit of a let down when the tech is so good.
A friend bought the H50R

First unit was awful, switching itself off and on.

He’s a full time deer professional and it really let him down, he had lost faith but Nocpix uk distribution sent him a new unit and it’s been ok but he’s not trusting of it.

When it’s working the tech and zoom is very good.

I have just been out this morning again to do a check zero, more to reassure myself than anything else .................. ended up pulling the plug & done a factory reset, I saved the original X & Y's to input again.
Back to it tonight.

Nocpix will likely ask you to plug it in remotely while they look at it.

I wonder if they sent you his old unit after it had been repaired

I have two that have died, they refuse to charge now

The cheap "SAM" pink ones on Amazon have outlasted them although they only ever show 75% charge in the H50R

Anyone find these batteries a little bit asthmatic?
I have a lumi h35r spotter it’s fantastic the batteries however are utter shite one only lasts 30 mins with a full charge with the NOCPIX charger I emailed NOCPIX about it directly and I’ve had no response very disappointing they are also a different size from normal 18650 which I have more of I would like to buy more batteries for it but I won’t be buying NOCPIX ones at £30 a battery but can’t find the correct spec if anyone knows a good alternative please let me know thanks

I’ve got the Lumi H35R and had no issues at all, battery life is a good 4+ hrs.
Maybe a bad batch of batteries in circulation!

I'm also owner of lumi h35r from May this year. I intensely using only one battery, other two I used only once for test. I didn't notice different between them.
Original nocpix 18650 are longer then all others I have. I know that there is the difference between batteries with and without "electronics" which should be some kind of protection from reverse set or something... But I never insert battery upside-down, so I don't know if that protection is just on paper, or actually doing something.
Usually original is about 2 hours in standby mode + about 45 min. active using without WiFi and with few RLF checks. All together 2,5-3hours. Same experience and durability i have with Temu cheep no name 18650 (around 6€ 4 pices) without protection.
Often usage of LRF and WiFi consuming significant more energy from my experience.

Yes, I’ve not had it long but was out stalking a couple of weeks ago, 1 battery lasted me easily 4 hours
Seems like I got dud batteries then zero customer support is disappointing guess I’ll have to pay for new batteries and look happy my new thermal scope won’t be NOCPIX when you pay a premium you expect support from the manafacturer I’m having to cut short hunting because of it not ideal

Chase them up, if something isn’t right it needs correcting. They seem very active on socials - Facebook / instagram maybe drop a message on there

My nocpix h50R don't last long at all I think the 18650 battery's are junk im lucky to get a hour and that's not constantly on i messages nocpix had nothing back not great for £3700 scope when I got it

Forgot to say im on my second h50R the first one lost zero and wouldn't zero again this new one doing good so far beside the rubbish battery's

Have used the batteries out of an Aldi/Lidl drill battery...just took it apart....still using them 3 years later
Utterly brilliant.

I had a old Aldi battery that didn't fit the tool I purchased it for, I have just taken the battery apart and now have 5 18650's on charge.
