Norfolk /Suffolk fac

Hi , probably a “how long is a piece of string “ question , but here goes
Does anyway know roughly how long Norfolk / Suffolk are taking to issue new fac permits ? Thanks

I’ve always had good service from Norfolk Constabulary. I can’t comment on new applications but they recently turned my change of address round in a matter of days when I returned to the area. I have a fairly complex FAC with a couple of slightly unusual things plus some shared estate rifles etc and they didn’t make any drama of it. Sussex Police took over a year to do the change of address when I moved into their area.

Cheers , I’m guessing it’s a waiting game as new applications seem to be last in line to get looked at !

My nephew got a new grant fac in a couple of months from start to finish, his application was bulletproof in that he was a member of a club and had experience and land to stalk over, he got .308, .223 and .22lr... everything he asked for basically. This was only a few months ago.

Ten months from the very first telephone enquiry and delivered, with a glaring error on the conditions which is now being corrected, last week.
All went very quickly at the start with visits and land inspection etc, then nothing for months.
