Norma 22lr Subs

My local RFD stocks the Norma 22lr subsonic ammo and as I had used my last brick of Winchester Subs I bought this. Plenty of reviews were complimentary about accuracy (as expected of ammo coming out the RWS Factory) and zeroing it showed good results.

Today I went out squirrelling and shot 5 (not enough to be conclusive) but there was a bit more less instant death on chest shots than I've had with the Winchesters.

I appreciate 5 isn't enough to really draw any conclusions as a couple were head shots and behaved as expected but two of the other three needed a coup de grace where usually I'd not have expected that. So just wondering if anyone else has noticed anything similar or if I just need to shoot more and see.

Hi NH
What type have been using I got the segmented and the HP the HP were stringy and I had some requiring second shots on rabbits, I run both of them for a few outings the segmented were very good all round in a Anschultz and blaser 22 rimmies, I shot the HP on targets and gave some to other to use in other rifle types, using the Norma segmented in the blaser and RWS lead in the Anschultz permanately now both have good knockdown and accuracy

There the HP, not the segmented.

Maybe they're a bit harder lead than the Winchester or maybe I need to shoot more.
