Available: Novice picking up opportunity kent

Hi as per the title there is a vacancy for a novice gundog handler to join me on our picking up team, open to ANYONE (yes ladies) with a trained gundog that is completely under control at all times.

We run a small, very friendly family shoot 20mins from J10 M20, shooting on alternate Saturdays beginning 28th Oct.

Complete novice welcome as guidance and training offered throughout until confident, all I ask is that you be keen, reliable and have a genuine interest in working your dog.

The shoot is set in some very pretty countryside, comprising arable, broadleaf and conifer plantation giving a mixture of opportunities for retrieves.

The days are not at all demanding, you will look forward to some fun days out in good, like-minded company, where enjoyment is more important than the bag.

Cannot believe that there are no local novice dog handlers to take this up..... its a very good opportunity to get into the sport, have a great day out working your dog in some beautiful countryside, as said the day is not demanding physically and the company is suitable for ladies lol.

Know exactly what you mean, don't mind the odd mishap but wanted to avoid out of control pooch running into next parish (let alone next drive) with owner bellowing after it all day.... plus I find genuine novices without bad habits and a know-it-all attitude much easier to get along with, a lack of confidence shouldn't hold anyone back, I am the most patient man in the world with lots of time for genuine people.
