Purely as a guess I would say that they probably date from around the 1950's or 60's, but could be even earlier. Do a search of ammunition collectors forums as I'm certain there will be some collector interest even if just for the box.
There used to be a dealer who attended the arms fairs at Bisley who specialised in this sort of thing. A work colleague found some boxes of old .300 rook ammo when clearing out his father-in-law's garage following his death. My friend wanted to know how to dispose of them and was considering throwing them in the river that ran alongside our office. I didn't think that was very wise so I took them to the dealer in Bisley and was surprised how much they sold for. My friend insisted that he share the proceeds of the sale with me.
Wow they are even older than I thought they may be!
Maybe not worth a huge amount but I would say that they would definitely have some collector interest if you wished to sell them.
The oldest .22 ammo that I have used was wartime issue and most of them went off with only a few duds. Obviously stored well, actually in someone's sock drawer. I hasten to add that I gave the rifle a proper clean after shooting those.
