Are there any statistics showing how many people have suffered negative effects, due to the vaccine, against the number of non vaccinated people, who have suffered, because they weren't ?

They have only just started admitting there ARE negative effects from the vaccine in any quantity ?
Its going to be a while yet before we can get figures on just how many , and to what extent of serious those effects are.

If it does turn out (and I wont hold my breath it ever gets admitted) that there are significant numbers of vaccine injured people , and by significant I would say above 1 %, what would we even DO about it ?
The governments of the world gave immunity to the pharma companies, in return for 'saving' us from the pandemic, so the only way there is going to be any recompense or treatment (and this will be after the very long process of proving it) is via our own taxes...
This could easily turn out to be one of those situations, where the people wearing the tin foil are proved right.. Now wouldnt that be embarrassing ?

But no one knows how bad they will get it in the first place ? Ive had it ,had no symptoms at all but tested positive last year , so if id had the vaccine ... i wouldnt have got it as bad as no symptoms ?

Clearly, I can't comment on "YOU" as an individual. Maybe you, could be one of the individuals who would suffer from a side effect, I wouldn't know.

I am in a vulnerable group (diabetic), and the choice was a no brainer for me. I've had Omicron, and for me, it was like a mild case of the flu, for a few days. I know others who didn't even know they had it, and some that have been really sick.

Sadly, we're unlikely to ever know the definitive answer, to "should we, shouldn't we" ! We each have made a choice, and it is, what it is !

My question was how can anyone say that following a vaccine shot you wont get covid as bad as without it , if there is no way of telling how bad you would have been without the shot in the first place ie some people are asymptomatic? And im in no way an anti vaxer or tin foil hat wearer

The UK Yellowcard system admits approx 2000 deaths due to covid vaccines.

Given that the recent ONS FOI data now declares that only 17000 death certs in two years cite covid alone, the risk-benefit ratio looks poor.

I suppose one could always take the high ground, end divisions, etc.

On the other hand, a lot of dangerous people have been exposed for who they really are and need to be prevented from causing, and supporting similarly dangerous policy decisions.

Before anyone rhetorically answers, they supported the measures on the data available, if you are too stupid to interpret data correctly, or question the source, you are in no position to enforce such policies nor scream/shout//stamp feet/demand unvaccinated be locked away or denied access to healthcare, public services and education or even going to the shops!

Now that would be meaningful though impossible to calculate.

Mortality globally has been approx same in both vaccinated and unvaccinated populations. I.e 1 to 4 deaths per thousand.

If vaccines had delivered immunity, or halted transmission, then the relatively high risk of treatment injury vs succumbing to the disease would look attractive.

The only silver lining is if its the Omicron variant that rips through the population, it shouldnt be as bad as it would otherwise have been.

I have been listening to the experts in SD for 2 years including the sharp guy with big ears that lives in Ireland.

Modeling of millions of deaths, Lockdowns, track and trace wear your mask, spray everything in alcohol, deep cleansing, scan, get your pcr test, rapid antigen tests, self isolate, make sure your 5 year old has their 4th booster, no booze parties, and we can eliminate this virus , slow it down and save the health system and the 104 year olds. If we can save just one life it was all worth it.
