Had you gone out SPECIFICALLY to whack foxes with your 12, or was it just an unlucky coincidence for yon critter?? If specific, what shot size do you like best for this please??..
I have done a bit of fox whacking with my REMMY 1100 but load it with 36 grams or higher charge weights of #1, #2s or at a pinch #3s and a 3/4 choke. Tried using an extended "Turkey" choke which is Full++, and it was quite effective and bashed the Bejaybers outa the foxes (2 of them) that I connected with... Tight pattern!!!.. Both at around 30 to 35 paces from me.
