Had a provisional stalk booked with muntjacstalker for a CWD cull doe, This was back in October 17, if a chance came up I was up for it January. Monday January 29 Jason phone's a message saying a booking is on the cards please call back. I ask when the date will be, this Thursday! Another early start and long drive to a permission this week that will be THREE outings. I set off this morning 05.15 to get to Jason for an 06.45 start.I Load his car with my gear and we are off,plenty of deer about some time ago say's Jason, I think, the wrong thing to say if you are supersticious and he added,"we may be back before you know it", "field-spot-bang-back!" We arrived at the chosen area, I kitted up and we set off after checking wind, no sooner had Jason reached the hedge,he spotted some deer but they moved further out so we carried on a little further and he spotted another, closer this time, when he glassed it and reported a possible gold medal!!, not for me I'm afraid! we watched it dissapeer into the hedge line further up to our right.A bit further on again,he saw some more feeding so I closed in behind Jason to get in and over the deep ditch and make ready for a possible shot, "Shall I take the one on the left,"I asked, "NO"wait till I check say's he.Well,rifle on bipod and watching through the scope, Jason tell's me to switch to the other one to the right,OK' your the boss, job done.Shall I take him Now! No' WAIT,and he checks again,it is not in a good position anyway,facing head on,when and if it turns side on, It's moving,TAKE IT! the resulting report of impact is unmistakable and the beast is down.Job done get in!..OOPS! when we check our quarry HE' has tusks which Jason estimates as a SILVER MEDAL. Well as he told me at the off,if a mistake is made I have to pay, if he makes a mistake he will only charge the minimum which is how we settled my outing. Very straight up guy. Oh' and we were back at the vehicle at 07.55! My first CWD and a medal class as well! Thank you Jason mate.

Many thank's lad's! I have to add, that Jason was in full agreement that I gave a truth full account of my outing. My previous outing with Jason, was for a Munty,job done! Now to go again and get this result is proof of a true guide and stalker, What else can I say,? I would like to complete the six with a Sika deer. Oh, and a boar!=7?

Is Muntjakstalker taking clients out?? I got a good friend, keen to give it a go on a Muntjak and CWD, doesnt need to be a medal so.... How can I contact him? Other thoughts about similar offers?
