Has anyone used optics warehouse recently? I've been calling to ask them about a thermal. Same story every time, name + number and I'll get back to you later/tomorrow. Another phone call a couple of days later asking, I'll get back to you shortly... Surprisingly, no answer.

Third time? You guessed it. Their customer service seems to have really dropped off this last time dealing with them and I'm not sure whether it's new staff, can't be arsed or just extremely busy. I'm trying to spend my hard earned to near the 2k mark and frankly, false promises is starting to irritate me.

Anyone got anything positive about them RECENTLY before I sod it off and go somewhere else? I've used them countless times and never any issues but this time is leaving quite a sour taste.

I used them last week to buy a 20 MOA rail. I'm local so I called round. Everyone was glued to a phone.

@hendrix's rifle ….I e mailed them in October with a question regarding a scope and rail to fit my rifle to ensure clearance on the objective and associated lens cover……….reply was via a phone call within an hour ………I was driving and unable to answer got home and saw that they had taken time to send me a detailed e mail reply.

So I can’t fault them…….. YMMV…….however it is a busy time for small firms.

Maybe they are short staffed with people taking leave over Christmas or busy with an increase in orders?

I have had nothing but really good experience with them personally including a few weeks ago - I was amazed at how quickly they sorted out my query which turned into a return and replacement unit!

I'd be tempted to send them an email with what you are looking to purchase and request a call back saying you have called a few times - best of luck

I've always had excellent service, but the last time I ordered from them, I didn't get the mini pack of Haribo I used to get, so I was very disappointed. Damn inflation!

I bought a hik stellar 60 of them 3 weeks ago,was faulty so sent it back on monday with a pick up organised by them after speaking to Nikki,the emailed me Tuesday to say it had been received and then Wednesday to say they were posting a brand new unit out which I will have arriving tmoz. Can’t fault them to be fair.
Ps.nae Haribo though so that thermal might just get sent back
