Always preferred Harris, lovely part of the world. Hope you have a chance to go down the Golden Road before you leave. When we did the Islands tour, we headed for Stornoway and got the ferry to Ullapool - and then had a bit of a detour around the North Coast and then back down to see friends in Lossiemouth.
The Harris Hotel was always a decent place to stop over - especially after the Summer Solstice when all the aged hippies were heading home after communing with nature at Callanish!
