Parallax in yds, adjustment in MRAD (CM)

I have seen a few scopes like this and it seems counter intuitive i.e. MRAD goes with meters. With the depth of field most good scopes have i don't imagine it's much of a real world problem and you're just focusing it in to your eye. Anyone have any real world experience with it on scopes they are running?

MIL works with either, it’s an angular measurement. The problem arises when you have a scope with MOA or 1/4” clicks and MIL reticle. My scope is 7 clicks to a MIL so what do you do for half a MIL? Dial 3 or 4? Neither is satisfactory.
But if you have a MIL MIL or MOA MOA ret and turrets you can work in yards or metres as you see fit.

Thanks. Yes all good with mil ret and mil adjustment etc. Was just trying to wrap my head around the parallax being different but it shouldn’t really matter as you can just adjust in cm to 100yds

It really doesn't matter. Parallax should be removed with the eye as you say - and the distance marked on the turret is notional and should not be used for anything more than a rough distance estimate - it is certainly not accurate enough to distinguish between yards and metres below at least 500. The two things are not related - but appreciate the CDO of units matching.

At very large mag with big side wheels FT airgun shooters use them to range find. But it isn’t that accurate on lower mag scopes in normal use.
