Pard tl3 illuminator

I was looking for the above with the adjustable lense .
I was told the 1 I have purchased doesn't come with the adjustable lense because of uk laws? Does anyone know if this is true or have I been fobbed off.
All the pictures show the lens adjustable. Or are these stock images.

The ones from Pard UK are non direction adjustable and LED.

The two legitimate sources of Pard products designed for the UK market are now Pard UK and John Rothery.
