After thinking about this for a bit ,I decided to stick with my inch rings .
Managed to pick up a Pecar Champion 6×45 looks good on the rifle more in keeping with the age than the big scope would have been.
Unfortunately I'm going to spoil it all by having it screw cut, sad I know but needs must.

I think a 6x45 pecar will be a perfect match. Hope your eyes stay up to the task!
