If I was after a Patterdale I'd probably go down the Glyn Jones route. His dogs come from good lines and he is serious about what he breeds.

Had a Lakeland Patterdale bitch(peggy)she was the hardest bitch I ever owned.proper heart stopper.if we had a fox in a bad spot that couldn't be moved she was used.she went in fox was dead.she had some hammer but wouldn't give an inch

Can’t beat some digging with the dogs! Was out yesterday on the cubs had 3 litters very successful day especially as one litter was with the new pup of 15months old! Hell of a little terrier and worked hard for them! So all in all a very good day!
I think I am just too soft. When I was part time keepering in the 90's my mate dug down to a litter and I just remember peering down and thinking they looked like a litter of Toller pups.

Nice looking dog, am down to my last one (13yr old) who sadly is suffering cancer on his jaw and has weeks to live. Got my first bitch from Mark down Bridgend way. He used to show his patterdales at the West of England Show, Shepton Mallet. She was brilliant at anything even fighting Volvo estates when she chased a rat across a road!!! Had a litter from her and kept an all black bitch and dog who came out coffee brown and slightly softer coat. The other pups went to friends. All hard as hell but made brilliant family pets and never put a foot wrong with my grandkids or friends kids. Love them but agree they can demand independence
