Paying for a name......Vortex??

Ive knackered my torque screwdriver so today's rainy day task was to find another, I must point out that I hate on line shopping preferring to feel a thing in my hand but, for convenience.
Anyway theres a few screwdrivers that crop up repeatedly regards quality and vortex is right up there.
So after plenty of Google they seem to be knocking on the door of £150 but....whilst searching, a brand called "first info" crops up and they look exactly like the vortex, same colour, same extras, even the same packing, surely not?? 🤔
Anyway from what I can tell, first info make the torque drivers for vortex....i got mine for £81.50 posted minus the vortex sticker which ill try and live with, saving £65.45 not including postage on the brand name.
Makes you think.

On further reflection I should rename this post "dont buy a vortex torque screwdriver" incase any poor sod falls into this clever marketing trap.

As above, just bought a Sealey 1-6nm complete with calibration certificate for £36 from Amazon. You'll pay more if you want a fancy digital readout.

In my experience that warranty is unfortunately needed every 1-2 yrs, with their binoculars at least.
I had a pair of their LRF binoculars for approximately 6 years. The rangefinder went wrong, and as the model was by this time out of date Vortex (without any quibbles whatsoever) exchanged the faulty set with a brand new set of the updated current model.

If the binos had been Swarovski, Leica or Zeiss etc tye LRF would not have been covered

Good find - ill go check that out, thank you!... However warrantee wise Vortex would have your back! Worth considering but for that saving think i would take the risk!
