Peroxide on deer head

I know there’s already plenty threads on this subject but I buried my first roe buck head and it’s stripped whatever was left and washed any dirt of ect in sink. Was going to buy the 11.99% hydrogen peroxide off amazon and then just soak the head in the stuff in an old pan or bucket with cornetts out. Will this work soaking it or will I ruin it? And how long shall I soak it for?

I use Truzone Cream Peroxide 12%.

It’s like a thick gel and you can just squeeze small amounts out as you need.

I use a small paint brush to cover the head and get into all the areas. Rinse off after 24 hrs. Works for me and not messy to use. Link below.

I’m guessing just repeat the process if not white enough or just leave it on longer?

I separate the layers of the rolled cotton wool to give a thinner layer to cover the skull, add the peroxide to wet it and push the cotton wool into the eye sockets and various dips, around the base of the pedicles etc etc. Then I wrap it in tinfoil and leave overnight. The tinfoil prevents the CW from drying out and holds it against the bone.

Next day I unwrap it and squeeze the excess peroxide back into the bottle for next time and leave it in the open air or sun to dry.
