I’m looking for a petrol Capstan Winch if someone has one they no longer use?? If it comes with rope then that’s a bonus…

I'd toyed with getting rid of mine as it's rarely used, but as they say once it's gone it's gone, so I decided to keep it just in case it's ever needed again .

Sorry not much help but I suspect this might be the case for others too, there must be a good few gathering dust no longer required?

Every time I use mine I am most grateful I only see mine becoming available after I no longer walk this earth - it’s just so dammed useful and not just for stalking!

I used mine to raise a Free standing box a short while ago. Could not have done it without the winch.

I have a rough ish Simpson with the Tecumseh like the £650 one on here atm. Mine £300 because the tank split and had to be welded and the on/off switch is broken (you just choke it off - works fine). Available between Gateshead and Suffolk.
