Hi Bob they are a nuisance to get one to fit I’ve just had this problem and I’ve been sent 3 all different sizes and none of them fitted properly if at all. The problem was the 3/8” dovetail on the CZ American mod and Chinese made picatinny parts - they don’t match up !! …. I eventually got a 4th spring loaded set which also didn’t fit but I took them apart and ground them down and modified them to make them fit. If your rifle is the std dovetail you shouldn’t have a problem …. So I’m told

Mines a 1962 Mod 2, I wanted to change my scope for a spare 30mm tubed variable that I have sat on the shelf and as I have some 30mm rings with it I thought a pic rail might be a better option…. Maybe I should just get some 30mm dovetail rings instead

Your 1962 Model 2 should have a 16mm dovetail. Just measure across the top to confirm. I am not aware of any rail being available for that receiver. A 452/455 rail, 11mm or 13mm will not fit. CZ 527 or Tikka 15mm rings will fit your rifle. I have an as new set of Sportsmatch 30mm medium height for £20 posted if any good to you.
