Got me one of these for Christmas, daughters idea.
Cut pastry with provided disc, prepare fillings.
Venison, carrots, peas and gravy.
Line with pastry trying not to overfill with Venison.
3 minutes preheat ,ten minutes cooking then try not to burn your mouth eating hot pies 😋😋

That's right up my street... :p
I normally batch make pies and pop them in the freezer.
I made 12 Christmas turkey pies a couple of days ago with the leftover turkey, some leeks, smoked bacon, red onions and sour cream + turkey stock, a few stuffing bombs dropped inside as you fill the pie, and it reminds you of Christmas every time you eat one.
They make a quick, tasty supper.

Lamb tagine tonight 😋

I'm surprised, and a little disappointed, to find that having sourced the finest natural ingredient for their pie filling (ie, venison), people are happy to wrap it up in commercial pre-made pastry!
Pastry is one of the great loves of my life, but it absolutely has to be home-made.

There's a few vendors but its the same product give or take a quid price difference 😊

Ooh! Mutton pies! Used to be a highlight of a trip "up North" to McAvoy
We raise Shetland sheep for meat sometimes. They're pretty slow to mature, so I bring them on until they're almost three. The meat is absolutely superb. Very fine-grained, and with a fantastic flavour. The complete opposite of the knackered old boiling ewes my granny used to know as mutton.
