Shropshire is a fantastic county for pigeon. I spent decades shooting pigeon in the Shrewsbury area. Best days were out on cereals close to the town. Urban woodies streamed out fot easy pickings.
Same in South Glos closer to built up areas the better within reason.
If I could flight woodies in my back garden it would be a hot gun session.
