Wanted: Pigeon Shooting Highlands

Recently returned to the UK and have my licence back after serving overseas for last 5 years.

Got a couple of small permissions but not a lot of pigeon on them. Coming back from Tain today and seeing a lot of pigeons on the fields on crop and wondering if anyone has anywhere available.

Travel anywhere within about an hour of Evanton - IV15.

Go knock on the doors, explain what you have been doing, my question have you the kit to make a good job as that is what they will want, just ask for one day, shoot a bag and thank the farmer.

IIRC there was someone on SD called John who advertised roe stalking and pigeon shooting near Fort George. Someone will know him I'm sure.

Considering the number of fields with cereals around Evanton, ~I thought there would be a few opportunities for a polite call to some of the local farmers, maybe onto the Black Isle as well. Might be worth asking at McLeods or even Grahams in Inverness (if you haven't already done this) to see if there is anything going. The farms should be harvesting about now in the area.
Might even be worth asking the Novar Estate to see if they can help?
