DSC 1 shooting test practice and tutorial
Obviously allot of people have access to land and space to do their own practice for the DSC 1 shooting test, but on the other hand allot of people also don’t have access to land to practice. So we have setup this day with those people in mind or just for someone who wants to get some practice in.
The new Shooting Assessment will be implemented. It will consist of two rounds at the chest of the deer target from 100m from the prone or simulated high seat position, two rounds from 70m from standing, sitting or kneeling and, finally, two rounds from between 10 and 20m from the standing position at the head of the deer target. All normal shooting aids may be used.
Day plan:-
09:30 arrive coffee and chat about experience and aims.
10:00 zero test and shooting from bipod tutorial.
11:00 shooting off sticks practice, theory, technique and more practice.
12:00 20-10m head shot practice and theory.
12:00-13:00 long range 200-300m practice session.
Estate rifles available.
Located central Gloucestershire.
