DSC Lev 1 Course Central Scotland July 2026
A very hectic weekend and with our successful April DSC Lev 1 course now out the way we can look forward to our July Course.
The dates for our July Course are 18/19 July 2026 and the venue is Harburn Village Hall, near West Calder, West Lothian. As always our course is very much a comprehensive package which we believe gives candidates the best opportunity to attain this certificate. Our package includes an online pre course study programme, which comes highly recommended by previous candidates, an opportunity to have a practice shooting session prior to the course weekend where we can assist in ironing out any issues or just as a confidence builder, registration with DMQ, presentations over the weekend along with assessments. An Estate Rifle is available for candidates who do not possess their own rifle. Breakfast and lunch is included on the Saturday.
Our courses are always conducted in a relaxed manner with candidates from all walks of life, ages and experience.
It is now almost certain that the Scottish Government will require that anybody in Scotland who wishes to cull deer will require to have DSC Lev 1 and even before this becomes Law we have noticed that many applicants for a FAC are being guided by the Police to achieve Lev 1.
For lady stalkers we are now on Skills Hub Scotland which maybe worth exploring as they can assist with funding.
Costs are £350 less 10% discount to any member of any Facebook shooting or stalking related Groups. (£315).
