For sale
Kimber 8400 Tactical rifle in .243
Heavy Bergara Stainless custom barrel with 1:9 twist. I assume its classed as a 20" barrel with the threaded portion, but it measures 19" from the very front of the action.
Cerakoted in Armour black
1/2" UNF muzzle thread
Parallel fluted bolt
Extended bolt handle/knob
Picatinny rail
CDI Precision bottom metal
1no. 5 and 1no. 10 shot all metal MDT Magazines
2 studs on the forened for both bipod and sling
3 position safety catch allowing safe unloading of the rifle
The stock is wooden but covered in a durable black resin type paint finish. Possibly Armour Black too but not 100% sure.
I've put between 80 and 100 rounds through it since owning it and the previous owner used it very little after having it rebarreled.
It was rebarreled and fettled at Riflecraft by the previous owner and I have a copy of the original invoice.
One or two scratches and light marks but nothing major. A faint ring mark on the cerakote finish on the barrel from the previous owners Hardy moderator. And some small light marks on the action near the safety in the cerakote finish
Generally a tidy rifle thats been well looked after and seen little use, since rebarrelling
MAE Compact Stainless 1/2" UNF moderator up to 6.5mm which I bought new from Julian, one of the very last he had! One of the best mods out there, in my humble opinion.
It handles a variety of bullet weights with ease and produces very good groups with both factory lead and copper ammunition.
Based in West Sussex. Ideally a face to face transaction but can send via an RFD, if absolutely necessary.
Priced to sell at £700.00
REDUCED TO £650.00
The moderator alone is like new and worth £300
Hik scope, Bipod, rings and bases not included in the sale
