As I am very new to this, I am still hunting around for means to send Private message to someone I am talking to.
Sure it’s very simple, so decided this was the quickest means.
Hopefully I will get a couple of answers that will do

Click on the envelope icon alongside your user name, top right of the page. Choose "start new conversation".
