Pulsar APS3 Battery spare "O" rings

I had one of the o rings break on an aps3 battery so called Thomas Jacks for a replacement, they said Pulsar have not supplied them with any and did not know when they were going to get any, tried the usual plumbers, hydraulic pipe companies etc but no good, anyone found a supply of these anywhere?

For the price these pieces of kit are and the profit they make you would think Thomas Jacks would be making a better effort to get O-rings from Pulsar. If you lose one the Thermal then isn’t waterproof .. further the battery is then prone to fall out. In the dark this is not good.
As an aside I bought an XM30 last August, it broke down and was returned to TJs in October last year and I was given a replacement this May. Horrendous service😡

Have you measured it? Just need ID and thickness.

I lost one on my axion key Am22 I think it was 15mm OD and 1.5 mm ring but check yours 5 on eBay £3.99 initially I measured the battery and bought a 20mm but that doesn’t quite fit as the slight stretch reduces the ring rubber slightly

My mate kept pinging his off, he purchased a large assorted box of O rings from Halfords, never had a problem since, keeps some in his motor 100%

They work perfectly

I get my O rings from Hydraulic Equipment supermarket Gloucester.
Very helpful and cheap. Supplied all the O rings for my Wildcat Moddys.

Hi
Has anyone found a supplier for the o rings and could point me in that direction.
Many thanks
I recently tried ordering some BS015 (1.78mm x 14mm ID) viton o-rings but they were too hard (70 Shore) and wouldn't let the battery fit.

The factory o-ring measures about 1.78mm cross section x 15mm inside diameter.

I'm going to try ordering some (hopefully softer) silicone o-rings in BS015 & BS016 sizes and will update you when I've received them.

I use Simply bearings to order from - good service and selection.

Many thanks takbok, I’m watching for your update, I tried 3 different hydraulic pipe and fitting companies but couldn’t find anything suitable🫣

I've ordered BS015 Silicone o-rings off eBay for £3.86 - hopefully these work.
These o-rings work. BS015 size, silicone material. A light wipe of vaseline or rubber grease will make them seat better in the thermal.

I can pop some in an envelope with a bit of grease for anybody who needs some, but it might take a week or so to post as I'm flat oot. Send me your address and they'll hopefully reach you before Christmas.

thanks - mine shed o-rings like they’re going out of fashion, the one clear design floor is that the grove they sit in isn’t deep enough to keep then in place. I’ll order a pack.
I wonder though whether a touch of puncture adhesive down in the grove will help them stay out without leaving any permanent residue.

No probs! I think that when the o-rings are dry they rotate when the battery is pushed home, and make it hard to seat the battery properly. A bit of grease helps a lot.
