That's already been answered if you read the earlier posts. There are loads of reviews and tests done with this unit if you Google it.At what range could you identify that it is a fox?
Thanks, and no I haven't used these thermal units before. I am in two minds, I am looking at the HIK FH35 also. I don't know whether to pay big now or go for a cheaper unit first, like the one above for sale. This will be used for mainly foxing and I already have a good scope on the rifle, I only need a spotter scope. I won't be taking a shot any further than 150 yards in the dark. I just need something to identify a fox around 100 - 300 metres or possibly more when scanning the fields at night. That's already been answered if you read the earlier posts. I paid over twice the price being asked here for a used one a number of years ago and am still very happy with it.
It will blow your mind if you have never used a thermal spotter before.
