Quad Bikes Danger

When I bought the suzuki king quad I did their offered course in Andover ,a very good course that taught me never to traverse a slope sideways .Watched vids of how easy they roll .

Sorry to hear about the death! Never been a huge fan of quads, one of the farmers up Durness way died in a quad accident a couple of years back and he knew all the ground better than anyone. Agree with Sandy's dog, if you get offered a training course … take it.

Sad news indeed, yes they can be dangerous tools if not ridden correctly, you have to read the ground and get your backside off the seat and stand on the pegs and be prepared to shift your weight around like a motorcross bike if you want to stay upright on more challenging terrain, i doubt that i would pass a atv course with the way i ride my quad, but i'm still here after 30 years of riding them on some fairly challenging terrain,

Quads are like any other ATV they need to.be treated with respect you need need to read the ground before
attempting it.
Go on a course they might not be difficult to ride but at least on a course you will learn how to get clear of the
damned think when it does go wrong.
Who said an argo can't tip believe me they can dramatically! Broke every rib when I tipped mine @rse over t@t
tipped a quad a few times to but never been hurt need to push it away from you as it goes over if it tips sideways bit more difficult if it tips backwards ,
