Queens health.

The Queen's health has apparently taken a turn for the worse and she is under medical supervision. Her entire family have either arrived or are on their way to Balmoral to be by her side.
In the Commons, a series of notes were passed around before an announcement was made by the Speaker about her Majesty's health. This is highly unusual.
It all sounds very ominous. I hope not.
Best wishes Ma'am.

A remarkable woman who has seen and achieved some remarkable things in her 70 years on the throne. It will not be until they start telling her story after she dies that many come to realise just how much she has done and sacrificed for this country. I have had the privilege of meeting her on several occasions. Her passion for the countryside and our sport/way of life is wonderful to see and listen to. Stalking, shooting, conservation and horses are subjects she can talk about for hours.

God Save the Queen

I’ve been in her company only once when picking up with her ( next to her in the line but one ) a real countrywoman, a spade is a spade with her as her dogs will testify, she has no qualms about using basic Anglo Saxon when they cock a deaf ear.
An amusing experience I’ll not forget.

I wish her well, she’s a great lady.

I fear that she is already dead. A commentator on Radio 4 let it slip when speaking about Charles earlier, I thought.

I'm going to avoid Twitter for a few days. The Clusterc**ts are out in force on there already.

A wonderful woman and a terrible shame.

I have so much respect for the queen, a stalwart, a workaholic and a lovely lady. I hope for the best for her.

Already the absolutely abhorrent comments from the nationalists up here are popping up on faacebook - absolute idiots.
Great Woman
True lover of all things country
I fear for the Union once the inevitable comes to pass.
She has glued our nation together.
Bless her.

Remarkable human being.

Will be a sad day when “London Bridge is down” is announced.

My thoughts are with her and the family.

A member of my local fishing syndicate was salmon fishing in Scotland some years ago. He became increasingly disenchanted during the week as whenever an oncoming Range Rover arrived, he would have to drive into a ditch to allow it to pass by. Beggar this, he thought. The next time , I ain't moving...
Inevitably another Range Rover arrived, and he sat tight. After a while, the RR drove into the ditch to allow him to pass..
He lowered his window to deliver an ironic Thank You to the driver, and discovered...it was the Queen.
