Quick release Bipod options

Quick release bipods, what are the options? I have a tier one carbon thing that fits to the sling swivel but its to fiddly to fit quickly. I dont really want to pay spartan prices, what else is out there?

Versapod or Parker Hale, won't be as light as your carbon one but slip on to a spigot

Picatinny and Arca rails are also options. I have a couple of Harris bipods that have Picatinny QD fittings. I also have a couple of Arca QD bipods, one of which is for sale.

I have a MDT GRND-POD bipod in black for sale. Unused in original packaging. £200 posted ono. This bipod attaches to an Arca rail.

I have Picatinny rails suitable for bipods on a couple of rifles. One fits to the sling stud and the other to a M-LOK forend. The sling stud one is just a cheapie from ebay (like this) but is solid enough. I have a couple of bipods that have QR clamps that can then fit quickly to either rifle.

Tier One offer several mounting adapters options so it should be possible to change the sling stud adapter to something preferable ie. the QD picatinny clamp and fit a section of rail to your fore end

The GRS version of the fortimier design is fantastic. there’s an unused one on UKV for £300 (list was 500 inc the spigot) and some retailers are now discounting them.
or i have a versapod in the classifieds.

Thats what I want but I dont want to to pay that kind of money lol. i was hoping the was a knock off chinese version. Maybe I'll just need to save my pennies

I only paid £80, but the rifle stock already had the flush fit adapter in

As i'm still a bit new to rifle shooting, the variation in both bi-pod spec and prices is massive ..just trying to pick the best to suit

I reviewed three cheap bipods a few years ago on here - Quick review of three cheap bipods - it may be useful if you're a cheapskate like me. Two of them have QR rail mounts.
