R for rigby

Desperate attempt to create another rifle for the wealthy American market. Classless touches and vomiting to see the self loving Newton prance about again.

Tough brutes and relics,,,,,getting driven about, wearing white silk gloves, 😂

Is it April 1st already?

I thought the stock timbers were 10 star.

Interesting to see Donald Trump Jnr become involved with Rigby. Quite renowned as an American Hunter having hunted in Alaska, Azerbijan, Africa etc.

Nice rifle but then what's the point of then queering or to use an golf analogy stymying the iron sights with that cheap sight mounting system. I owned this, years ago. A Bennie Laubscher made rifle in 7x64. Done right with a Holland and Holland style quick detachable side mount.

I thought that looked like Trump’s kid. He seems like a good man but I’m surprised they picked him for the Rigby poster boy, all the political baggage. A truly fantastic rifle that we all dream about owning. Really though, I think some proper British guy should have been the salesman. Guess you guys ran out of those kind of men. I’m thinking being associated with guns over there would be a career killer. Heck, its probably that way here too. That’s why they need someone so rich they don’t give a flying …. .

The thing is the real bespoke rifles were possibly Holland's and Westley Richards. If I had the money (but not the sense to keep it) I'd buy a Holland and Holland or a Westley Richards. I wouldn't give a look in to a Rigby. If I wanted a Mauser '98 chambered in 7x57 I'd just cut out the middleman and buy a German "guild" rifle with claw mounts in Mauser '98 in 7x57 and care not a jot that it wasn't a wonderkind .275 Rigby with cheap American mounts that block the sightline so you can't use the iron sights if the 'scope is mounted. Still I guess some like it.
