I guess when you live on an Island off an mainland the infection "R" rate will be easier to control, who knows exactly what the number is now but be assured with actions like this it will be going up.So how does that "R" number work when the number of infections is an unknown quantity?
How is anyone in government supposed to know that when by their own admission around 80% of C-19 cases are mild/asymptomatic and go unrecorded?I guess when you live on an Island off an mainland the infection "R" rate will be easier to control, who knows exactly what the number is now but be assured with actions like this it will be going up.
We can only be guided by what we are told by the experts so unless you are a Virologist and have some advice to share i'm not sure where your argument is going, anybody who has symptoms is being told to get tested I thought that was the message and seems fairly straight forward to me. A recent study showed around 5,000 new cases are detected per day but obviously if you don't show symptoms that only by a random test you will get noticed. I think only 25% maybe asymptomatic .How is anyone in government supposed to know that when by their own admission around 80% of C-19 cases are mild/asymptomatic and go unrecorded?
From the experience since March it has been noted that Ethnics are more prone to suffer from the disease, now we know why !
Check out that sign that the dim white bird is holding up.Does this abide by the 6 people gathering a one time, its such a shame as London's NHS was nearly overwhelmed and thousands have died but the care for their lives and others seem not to matter now. I guess Mr Cummings will take the blame for this as wellEvery Life Matters

This behaviour is really going to influence a lot of ordinary folks thoughts.
I feel it is a really good way for BAME to promote racism in this country and then blame white folk who are observing lockdown.![]()
Carl, a mixture of both. The protesters are not isolating or even safe distancing and of course the ones that work for the NHS are exposed more often and even wearing full PPE are still suffering.Because they are protesting?
Or is it.. Because more of them work in the NHS and are therefore subject to a great viral load than thee and me?
