I fully understand the matter in hand and protesting to show support on an unlawful incident , but a thought to those losing lives to safe others and risking a second wave and yet another Lockdown has to matter. I do worry to whom they may take this Virus back home to, will it just light the match again, we will see I guess.

I've not noticed many black people being shot or killed by white police officers over here, and what happens elsewhere is nothing to do with us.
If they want to protest then perhaps they should go to the USA and protest, see how far that gets them.

After we have endured months of lockdown and all it entails deaths are gradually reducing but now these selfish ba$tards think its fine to gather in numbers shoulder to shoulder and potentially reboot the infection. They should have been arrested en mass and fined heavily for this irresponsible behaviour. I guess when you live on an Island off an mainland the infection "R" rate will be easier to control, who knows exactly what the number is now but be assured with actions like this it will be going up.

We can only be guided by what we are told by the experts so unless you are a Virologist and have some advice to share i'm not sure where your argument is going, anybody who has symptoms is being told to get tested I thought that was the message and seems fairly straight forward to me. A recent study showed around 5,000 new cases are detected per day but obviously if you don't show symptoms that only by a random test you will get noticed. I think only 25% maybe asymptomatic .

Because they are poor?
Because they work in cash-in-hand, low-wage jobs that mean they can't self-isolate?
Because linguistic and social exclusion of older-generation immigrants distance them from effective healthcare?
Because the diet of socially and economically excluded people is generally less healthy?
Because there is a genetic tendency towards diabetes in some south Asian communities?
Because grandparents live with the family?

Or...

Carl, a mixture of both. The protesters are not isolating or even safe distancing and of course the ones that work for the NHS are exposed more often and even wearing full PPE are still suffering.
