Raichle 60 Degree boots.
I was about to put these on eBay but they might suit some of the Highland stalkers on here.
Very little use and hardly any signs of wear. The surface texture on the sole is still visible, so hardly broken in. A small scratch on one toe is all I can see as far as damage is concerned.
Being leather and suede makes these a heavy boot compared to fabric equivalents. But that pays off in durability and long term water resistance. They are Goretex lined, but a bit of treated leather will outlast the membrane every time. Each one weighs about 1200gm but their out of the box comfort is well known.
They are a stiff mountaineering boot, easily capable of taking on the worst of Lakeland and Highland terrain and conditions, and not out of place in the Alps. Perhaps a touch unnecessary for woodland stalking in Suffolk though.
Goretex lined and full rand.
