This week alone Lidl have the following heavily discounted... Peppers, carrots, blueberries, potatoes, lemons, oranges, apples, easy peelers, cabbage, chillies and cucumbers.
That's just Lidl, no shortage in any other shops either and plenty discounts.
I was in a major fish wholesale market in the UK a few days ago and there was a big shortage of fish unless you wanted farmed stuff from the Faroe Islands.

British and European glass houses can produce early crops but the cost of oil and gas has held production back, meaning greater reliance on Mediterranean and African producers.
