Anyone want to relive their childhood and camp in a genuine vintage Vango Force Ten cotton patrol tent

If, like the quartermaster, your 'eyes are dim and you cannot see' these were the tents you probably camped in

I saved a few of these in their way to a skip when we moved our scout stores a couple of years ago but don't really use them.

These have a cult following and go for over £150 regularly on flea bay but to be fair I'd rather it go to someone on here
https://ebay.us/m/MPJf4X

I'm pretty sure all complete but will get it out and take proper photos if anyone is interested

Condition: it's 40 years old and used by teenagers what do you expect

Price - donation of £75 to your local scout group (or one of mine if you don't care)

Location London
Shipping can be arranged at additional cost

which size/model is it? if the 4 man Mk5 I will take it please. Already have a Mk3 two man which i still use in the winter when away on the motorbike

"Mk 5 ST" on the label

can have it out and measured this afternoon as the boy is home for summer and probably lounging on the sofa

ok
haven't actually put it up outside as it's just rained but it's in far better than expected condition

it's deffo a 4 man version

ground sheet is 6' wide
108' long from the door to the Apex
A frames end up about 60' high at the point
the poles themselves being 76' long

Apex plastic A frame joints are amazingly not cracked
the Zips all work and no tears
cant see any rips anywhere on the innner, outer or groundsheet
even the original brass eyelets are in place for the apex poles

Full disclosure on the damage

one pole the spring has come out so it doesn't stay together (looks an easy fix which may be as simple as fishing out the anchor inside the pole which seems to still be there)
outer bag is torn and repaired - looks like a scout did it
pegs are a mess of bent mismatched nonsense but hope that's not a big deal

Some Pics here

the boy is 6'2" in socks and you are wlecome to him as well

TTT

Due to factors outside our control this is still available if anyone is feeling nostalgic

and don't forget it's for Charity so think of the poor little children you will be supporting with your generous donation which will be turned into sausages and marshmallows
