Real butter or one of the spreadable alternatives?

Bloody faff 99% of time up north here it’s always solid … even in a butter dish ….
Can tell by this thread thst not many affected by cost of living crisis ….. have ye seen how much Lurpak has gone up to ?!
Must be the cash yer all getting for price per kg of wild venison !

We downgraded to the Tesco lurpak ish looking butter pak spreadable

Used to milk 40 cows every morning when at school, 2 were Jerseys. Used to take home half a pint of cream off the top and a pint and a half of shorthorn milk. The old girl made butter and we used the remains for cereals etc. Kept 2 pigs and half a dozen chickens and one gosling for Christmas. That and rabbits kept us going with home made bread or bread from village bakery.
That was living, along with beef dripping.
 
My wife's home made butter is best,with seasalt in.
Oh my arteries!
Don't get it all the time so make do with spread more often than not.
I know which l prefer.
 
Right, you boys have convinced me to try it! Just ordered a butter dish!
