Great photo's but not exactly what I need. I'm after some close up detailed shots which clearly show distinguishing features. There are for teaching recognition, not to test it.

I only take photos when they are dead unfortunately. That was a group I saw without the rifle and it was taken on my iPhone from 60m. Ill have to get a decent camera. What about BDS site or Internet.

I'm the same mate, plenty of photos of dead ones, some crackers too!
There are loads on the internet, but sadly they are mostly very low resolution which don't lend themselves to being blown up on a powerpoint presentation.

I could have had a superb picture of a roe buck, doe and follower that were 30m over the boundary of where I was stalking this morning, I stood watching them for half an hour but forgot my camera - like you always do when you need it!!
I think I'm fairly sorted with Roe and Muntjac now. There seems to be a definite shortage of CWD ones though! Can't find many anywhere - especially does.

Not sure how you would stand with copyright but there is a good selection of recognition photos on the BDS Ultimate Data CD if you can get hold of one.
