Recommendation for heated gloves

Due to circulation issues, I am looking for some heated gloves that won't break the bank but will live up to expectations and last at least a couple of hours on lowest heat setting,
I purchased heated socks and a gilet last year and they have proved an excellent purchase for when sitting out foxing over the winter, now just need to get the hands sorted whilst out.

Has anyone purchased the likes of those cheaper offerings available on Amazon that run off rechargeable batteries and are happy with them.

I posted this on another forum last year.

After five years or so, I was finally diagnosed with genetic peripheral neuropathy earlier this year. When my hands get cold, usually about five minutes outside when temperatures hit below 5 degrees, they get incredibly painful and are practically useless to me.

Back in 2020, we visited Antarctica and I purchased a set of Sealskinz heated motorbike gloves so that I could hopefully carry on using my camera in the cold conditions. They worked faultlessly and are a godsend to me.

There is a but, however. They are very expensive. Normal retail is around the £170 mark. I have since bought another pair in the black Friday sale and they were just over the £100 mark.

They are very good quality, last very well and do the job.

I have recently found on amazon some made by warmsmart, I imagine this is a rebrand of a generic Chinese manufacturer. They are currently in the sale for £60. I have just received a pair and can give a view on them.

For the money these are brilliant, the battery is of a higher capacity than the sealskinz, the on/off is an improvement in that you have to hold it in for 2 seconds which means it's less likely to switch on accidentally in your pocket, they heat both sides of your hand as opposed to the top only and are much easier (for me) to put on. They are very comfortable.

Having only just received them, I cannot comment on the durability, but other than that, they are a clear winner, especially given the price.

Thanks for your input Dave. Do you have a link to the warmsmart you could DM please

I bought some saviour heat ones last year which are excellent and they’re 45% off at the moment. The only downside is that the “on” light is pretty bright but I just coloured over it with permanent marker. Job done

I have a pair of, Heat Experience gloves. So far I'm pleased how they perform. They do need two sets of batteries if they are worn all day.

I've got Savior heated hunting gloves and am really pleased with them, been using them for a couple of years now.

The most comfortable gloves I have ever owned and very effective for the long driven days.

Some might find them a bit bulky, but I love them and use them on the motorbikes too.

These see land heated gloves are brilliant. They are warm without the power. They come with two rechargeable batteries one for each and have three power settings by the push of a button. ^ hours heat on lowest setting.

Not a pair of gloves but I purchased one of the below handwarmers to get 'life' back into my damaged trigger finger that suffers terribly when the temperature drops:

Its an awsome bit of kit that remains nicely warm on just the first of the four settings. The turbo/boost heat mode is a good feature too and is VERY warm!

I feel your pain (just started suffering with Reynards myself).

The best solution I’ve found is to use the small throw away hand warmers placed inside the glove. They stay warm for well over 10 hours and are dirt cheap.

How bulky are the gloves in the fingers? They look as if it would be more difficult to shoot whilst you have them on?

The Saviors have velcro held pop back trigger finger covers on the left and right hand gloves.

MY preference for really cold weather is sheep skin mittens with a zippo or chemical hand warmers (buy by the box then very cheap) i then use a pair of ex army Falkland's over mitts or what i use most is a wildfowling cartridge holder this is like a tube on a belt with a knitted cuff on each end just pull your hands out when you need to shoot mittens are always better than gloves
