Recommendations for portable high seat please

yes it is easy to get more straps but you have to cut the other ones off as their stitched into place.

the idea of the back pack seat is to make it easy to carry, put up and use and remove at end. not have to carry all this that and other.lol.

if i could get close to where i needed with a car i would put a wooden seat up hehe.

All this is true, but I wouldn't think twice about removing the factory straps or slipping a 1" x 3m ratchet strap and a couple of 1" x 5m webbing straps into a pocket in the interests of my own neck, spine, limbs, life, etc.

I didn't go for the telescopic seat, but I do back-pack X3M1 and Bushwear portables about when I can't get in with the 4x4, using spare shoulder straps from an old drag bag, with my day sack or roe sack bungied to the back and the rifle slip slung across my chest. I probably look like the result of an unholy union between the hunchback of Notre Dame and a Christmas tree, but it gets the job done and means I have all I need pretty much where ever I want it. A successful outing does mean two trips back to the wagon though!
