Recording your culls.

I only have to keep records of what is shot on a few farms as the farmer/manager wants paid, but I add in the culls from other places too, just to keep track
Or at least, I've started to
I "recorded" culls in a little notebook, which I usually (but not always) filled in "on the day" and was inconsistent re details like weather etc - it was usually just species, gender, who shot it and rarely included accurate weight unless specifically required by someone
I recently decided to put everything into a spreadsheet, and I found out just how chaotic I've been over the years - I can't even read my own writing for a start!!
So, as of this summer, I started entering fuller details of the deer culled, on the day of cull (usually), into a spreadsheet and I'm trying to keep things more ordered, consistent and a lot more detailed

I'm glad to say that my FEO hasn't tried the nonsense of demanding certified records of anything in order to process FAC renewal/variation etc
That's gold-plating and should be pushed back against - hard

Oh such a loss to the poor little mites!
Must explain why all my children are such underachievers!
🤣🤣🤣

Seriously though, I grew up without TV, and have never felt any need for one, so my children all grew up without it. I can't even imagine what it would be like. Whenever I'm in someone else's house and there's a TV on it annoys me immensely.
Do you listen to the radio, really miss driving the tractor listening to radio 4 with its debates, informative programmes and plays in the Afternoon .

So the problem is really noise, it interferes with your thoughts, ability to daydream, use your imagination etc. understand completely.
