I have been accommodating a small number of clients and close family friends for deer stalking on my land, located just outside Great Yarmouth on the Norfolk Broads. I am now pleased to offer these stalking opportunities to the general public and to fellow hunters interested in Chinese water deer, muntjac, and red deer. The ground holds a range of excellent animals—from trophy-quality to ideal freezer-fillers.

I currently have a good number of red hinds, some superb stags, Chinese water deer, and muntjac available.

Stalking can be carried out on foot with myself or from high seats, depending on your preference.

If you are interested in a tailored package or cull-only outings, I am happy to accommodate this as well.

So how to start this apart from what a great time with a great guy,
I’ve been fortunate enough never to go on a payed stalk before I’ve always had places in syndicates since I started staking along time ago so this was going to be anew experience for me it was also my Christmas treat from the wife.
I’ve just had an evening out with Craig in the broads on some of his ground down in Norfolk to say he has a lot of CWD is an understatement,
We had 11 in the field in front of us excluding the two I had just taken.
The first field we tried had CWD and munties though nothing shootable, next stop not 2 mins away one of the best looking muntjack bucks I’ve seen in a very long time, again though, no shot on another, quick couple of mins in his truck and onto one of the next field we spotted 3 CWD straight away. grabbed the rifle and sticks and set off down the track after a couple of pauses to let deer cross the track into the field we got into position rifle on sticks and I took a doe and a young buck.

The rest of the deer just watched as we approached the downed two and only bolted once we was within 50/60 yards of them couple of quick photos and graloch done and off in the truck to his own farm and his neighbours sugar beat field and probably 30 reds way off in the distance to far in the fading light to get onto then off to our left 3 spikers came out of the woods and started into the field so a quick grab of the kit and off we went trying to head them off once we got to 200 yards it was gun on sticks and the rest as they say is history.
I can’t thank Craig enough for a great few hours in his company he’s a good laugh and very knowledgeable and really Does know his ground like the back of his hand
I would recommend Craig to anyone looking for a first time stalking experience a good representative animal or just a cull beast for filling the freezer up And the wife’s booked in for January for her first CWD too now with him
