A question
Up to now, I reloaded the 7 Rem Mag with Hornady SST 139 gr with 69.0 grs of Vihtavuori N560 or several Barnes bullets (according to availability) with 66.5-67.5 grs of the same powder.
As Vihtavuori powders seem to be nota available, at least in my region, I bought a can of Norma MRP. The gun dealer suggested to start with 66 grs and, if needed, go slowly upwards.
Unfortunately, the Norma site doesn't list any load with MRP in the 130-150 grs bullet range.
A few questions to the colleagues:
-Has anybody experience with Norma MRP in this caliber?
-The Quickload program doesn't list "Norma MRP" among the powders, but either "Norma MRP *C" or "Norma MRP 2*C". Does anybody know the peculiarities od the three powders?
-Is it true that RL 22 is the same powder as Norma MRP?

Many thanks in advance. In the meantime I wish everybody Merry XMas.

The '*C' indicates that the powder contains a decoppering agent. So 'Norma MRP *C' is the current MRP.
MRP-2 is a different powder. In the current product range it has been replaced by Norma 217.

Re 22 is to all intents and purposes the same powder. I can see if I can find you some load data as norma and vihtuavouri are the two most commonly used powders here.
