How much are you looking for just out of curiosity? I'd love a little semi in 28 or 410!Got a 1100 semi
Thanks Sean, a very nice gun but going to try and find a pump at the moment. Is it a three or 5 shot and is it on a 20 bore action also how much please?Got a 1100 semi
Sorry to be a pain but forgot to ask what does it weigh please?Got a 1100 semi
Thanks for info appreciated. Had a couple of ll00 12 bore skeet guns and loved them and still have a 20 bore all used for many things but not clays. Have a wingmaster 410 with skeet barrel which destroys crows when decoying.I love Remington 1100's - I've owned a 12b one for years. Must admit I too have hankering for an 870 in either 28b or .410.
However, for anyone wanting a 28b semi, have a look at a Benelli 28b Rafaello Crio. These weigh about 5lb 2oz and handle like a magic wand. I think the 1100 28b and .410's probably weigh about 7 1/2lb by comparison.
I am right there with the thoughts , reality bites real hard thoughJust got my mind set on a 28 and more of a bucket list thing and have been fighting the urge for around 20 years even though the future not bright for the weaners, revisited the 410 for the crow decoying and surprised myself
Holy grail for me wingmaster 28 bore with little or no choke, patterned the 410 with skeet barrel out to 28 yards with fiocchi 71/2 using dustbin lid and a cd taped central and found it spot on.
Know you are right but cannot help self![]()
Shot cups, cases and wads ( especially for steel shot cups) become the reloaders problem . Ok wads you can make but they are only good for lead / bismuth. One of the reasons i packed in the tens . Guys shooting TSS shot did very well on high geese with 28s but Cups and cases where an issueThe smaller gauges are always harder to buy and generally more expensive…
I am after a 16 bore remmy and struggling to find one. I do load all my own cartridges so the ammo isn’t an issue but finding a gun is the problem…
Not what your looking for but could be a compromise often see the older browning semi auto 16 bore advertised which is a classic but not everyone’s cup of tea.The smaller gauges are always harder to buy and generally more expensive…
