Remington 700 - bergara b14

Would anybody know if a Remington 700 action would be the same as the bergara b14 action? And if so weather the magnum action size is classed under large action? Trying to find a grs bifrost stock for a bergara b14 in 300wm lots available for Remington 700 large actions but not sure if this will work

From what I know the B14 comes in short and a long actions depending on calibre, just like the Remington 700. And yes, the action footprint should be the same as that of the 700.
But I would verify this with GRS before buying.

The GRS Bifrost can be had specifically for the B14 with either long or short actions. As there are also options for the Rem 700 I guess that the footprint may not be the same after all.

From what I’ve read, the B14 does not fit into a GRS stock designed for a remmy 700. That is why GRS make a specific bergara model. Someone on this forum has been stung that way already.

Yes, the Bergara has a side bolt release instead of inside trigger guard, the recoil lug assembly is not a 1:1 either.

Something to note, the Bergara Premier action is slightly different to the B14 and Rem700 as well.

Slightly hi Jacking the thread but I’m interested in the B14 in 300wm.
Any pointers good or bad ?

You can get that in the hmr format, so that you have a cracking stock straight away
Essentially thats what I was looking at. Watched a few reviews on its performance pros and cons but I was just wondering how other users view it. Seems like a tidy rifle for its price point.
