The stock on my cz 452 snapped last night. Any one replaced a cz stock and no longer use the original? Willing to sell? Or are there reasonable after market stocks that are good value?

Ouch!! Looks painful.
I looked for ages for a s/h stock for my 452, considering how many there are about you’d think an aftermarket stock would be abundant.
In the end I bought one direct from Boyd’s after following threads on here, in fact I bought one for another rifle while I was at it.
Took 3 weeks and cost £130 each all in.

I did have a quick look but most seem to be the hogs back design which isn’t great with a scope and worse with my nv. Looks like the boyds option is pretty good value

It was you’d have to ask they guy that bought it if it still is.
When ordering your stock what did you choose? I have looked on boyds and its giving me two choices for the 452, Magazine feed/ bull barrel and 452 american

It depends on which 452 you have, mine has the barrel mounting screw so i went for the bull barrel/mag feed.
The channel is cut for the varmint barrel but my sporter barrel sits fine and free floats.
If you look at the blue section on the ordering page it gives you the centers between mounting screws so you know it will fit.

I'm going through the same process with a broken 452 stock at the moment and it looks as though you obtained a very good result. Do you remember what paint finish you used?

I used carbon cloth and epoxy for the repair and painted with Rustolium stone effect paint in an aerosol can, can’t recall the name of the colour but it’s green. I use this gun quite regularly and it’s wearing well.
