Hi what single stage trigger is available for the tikka t3 thanks
Me to seems stupid no one doing oneBix n Andy only option (I think),really not worth it unless you're building a dedicated target rifle.
Lighter spring from Baldie/Gun Bloke etc, job done.
I do wish Triggertech or Timney would offer a sensible priced single stage unit for T3/T3x.

They really are good with a lighter spring. Recently received a rifle with a standard unit fettled by Mr Kershaw, and it's nigh on perfect, and I haven't even looked at where the spring tension adjustment screw is.That's because the tikka has one of the best triggers out of the box apparently, doesn't need it

Proper technique more important than just being light and crisp...

As I recall, I called him, chucked a tenner in an envelope, and had my spring within days.If you can get him to answer his emails.
The springs are there for everyone to see on the website but no option to buy.

Gun Bloke however comes from Oz, via eBay, takes a bit longer.
Just change the spring , you will see he’ll of a difference and there only £10Hi what single stage trigger is available for the tikka t3 thanks
The tikka T3 as in the old T3 ? that was a single stage usually . the later T3X is it ? is available two stage or single i think? I dont like the new two stage ( though i have other rifles with two stage ) just dont like them on deer rifles .Hi what single stage trigger is available for the tikka t3 thanks
Really dont like a "hunting rifle" ( without a selective set facility) to break at anything like that low personally. Not just about the safety of such a thing but the fact that i will be using the tool when tired , wet , cold either - sear engagement could possibly lead to a negligent discharge in loaded carry ( with the smaller threshold , with wear ) . Paper punching fine!So I have tried the timmeny trigger (2 stage) and the standard trigger with lighter triggger spring. Honestly the original trigger with the lighter spring is best. I have tried all three lighter springs I could locate and the lightest is the MOUNTAIN TACTICAL TIKKA TRIGGER SPRING
from brownels available with a short wait in the uk. That one runs about 12oz the other two I tried are about 1lb as is the timney trigger. I’m settled on the original trigger and the mountain tactical spring at the lightest setting
