Resizing 9X21 to 9X19

Afternoon all
I have a substantial amount of 9X21 cases which I need to trim down to 9X19.
The problem I’m having is that my RCBS trimmer pilot does not go into the 9X21 cases. It fits perfectly into the 9X19 cases.
What can I use to expand the case to make it slightly bigger?
Any advice would be greatly welcomed

If you are using a standard 3 die set in 9x19 I would use the flaring or powder through die to slightly open up the mouth on the 9x21 case, then your trimmer pilot should fit in the case.

After cutting to the correct length I would run the brass through the sizing die again to ensure it has the correct dimensions.

Good luck with your case trimming, seems like a lot of work if you have a substantial amount of 9x21 brass.

Thank you for the advise. I thought about the effort it was going to take, but the price i paid for the cases justify the time spent getting them sized

Make of the die? I would just use a Lee 3 die set in 9mm. I guess after the pistol ban you are not seeing too much once fired 9mm brass although I'm surprised it is not easily available. I did a quick Google search and see some once fired and new 9mm brass.

Lord! There's many...just find the right forum...who will glady swap you one for one 9x19 brass for 9x21 brass. Try some of the designated ranges that have historic pistols. I will ask the one local to me if they would trade 9x19 for 9x21 if you wish?

There are quite a few different makes yes, but most of them only flange the edge. I need something to expand the case about the length of the bullet, or slightly longer to accommodate the pilot
