6.5-284 before 6.5-06 all day long.

Always a personal choice but the 6.5-06 seems an awkward bodge compared to some of the more recent and frankly better 6.5’s.
For me it would be a choice between 6.5-284 or 6.5prc.
Good brass availability for both.
I’m sure the builder will make it a useful rifle however you decide to chamber it.
