Rifle Choice

no law against it but each chambered barrel would require an extra slot on our license just the same as a complete rifle and all the associated faff and buggery , so we may as well have complete rifles since it's no different in the eyes of our ridiculous law

crazy but thats the way it is here sadly

fight every tiny restriction they try and impose on you over there , the anti gun lot will never be satisfied !
California is going this route. Requiring a background check for a barrel. Really going to save some lives 🤣

Evening Danny,

I’ve been fortunate to use an AI AX in 7.62x51 ( an AW action conversion). It was accurate in every environment- hot/cold, reactive targets, precision targets at distance, moving targets. It grouped better at 500 than 100…I presume I was the limiting factor.

If you plan on shooting from a helicopter, or the desert, or a boat, or a rooftop then I would heartily recommend the AI…and I’d buy one for S&G if I could afford it but…there's always a but.

I shoot most weeks with people who have more accurate Tikka's/Sako's, Browning's, Bergeras, Sabattis, Blasers etc because they’ve found what shoots in their gun.

If you’re planning on Precision Rifle I would imagine you’re going to find what works for you. The AI is fecking heavy by the way.

I would probably spend my own money on some of the perviously recommended rifles, Tikka/Bergera etc and a couple of attachments and a ton of ammo to practice.

If you do buy an AI please upload some pics!!
